The Spring Festival is a traditional peak season for consumption, and the price and quality of important livelihood goods are highly valued. The State Administration for Market Regulation has deployed the work of stabilizing the prices and ensuring the quality of important livelihood goods during the Spring Festival, and has established a regulatory list for four categories: food, industrial products, life services, and drugs, focusing on holiday consumption hotspots. In terms of strengthening price fluctuation monitoring, we will closely focus on key areas of people's livelihood consumption such as "rice bags", "vegetable baskets", "fruit plates", and "stoves". We will focus on the increased demand for medicine and energy caused by the concentrated consumption of rice, noodles, rapeseed, meat, eggs, milk, catering, cultural and entertainment, hotel accommodation, transportation and logistics, and cold weather, and do a good job in online and offline price monitoring and tracking analysis and judgment. In terms of stabilizing market price levels, closely monitor the early signs and tendencies that have emerged, anticipate potential risks that may affect market order in advance, increase the frequency of market inspections, and effectively increase the supervision of key livelihood commodity prices. In terms of food and quality safety, we will tighten the responsibility for local management of food safety and the main responsibility of enterprises, accurately prevent and control risks, resolutely eliminate the sale of expired, spoiled, counterfeit and shoddy food, and strictly prevent regional and systemic food safety issues from occurring. Intensify the investigation of quality and safety hazards, with a focus on industrial clusters, wholesale markets, and rural markets. Continuously carry out product quality and safety hazard investigation, strengthen quality supervision and spot checks, implement "ledger style" management, and effectively eliminate quality and safety hazards. It is reported that market regulatory authorities in various regions will combine local consumption characteristics to carry out a series of actions such as price charging monitoring and early warning, special equipment safety hazards investigation and rectification, and gas appliance product quality and safety rectification, guiding business entities to operate in accordance with the law and regulations.
