On the morning of February 5th, officials from the United Front Work Department of the Ningbo Municipal Party Committee and the Citizen Religious Affairs Bureau led a team to carry out pre holiday safety inspections in some key religious activity venues. At places such as Tiantong Zen Temple, Ashoka Monastery, and Qita Zen Temple, a detailed understanding of the layout of fire safety facilities such as mini fire stations was conducted. Fire extinguishers were randomly selected for inspection of equipment, and daily maintenance records of fire facilities were checked. The safety management of key halls was also checked. Face to face communication and exchange were conducted with the person in charge of the venue, and work plans for dealing with overcrowding and emergency fire protection during festivals were carefully inquired about. Focusing on the design of pedestrian flow lines in the core urban areas, we will carefully examine the layout of safety exits, guidance signs, emergency lighting, and conduct on-site measurements to verify the ability of teaching staff to use fire protection facilities. We need to strengthen safety management, implement various work plans and emergency plans in detail, ensure that personnel, materials, facilities, and responsibilities are in place. We need to strengthen control measures, fully implement the duty system, strengthen inspections, and provide proper guidance for the flow of people during festivals. We must strictly prevent open flames from entering the hall to ensure the safety of the venue and personnel. We need to strengthen publicity and guidance, raise the safety awareness of all teaching staff and believers, work together to guard the bottom line, and ensure a safe and peaceful Spring Festival. During the security inspection, we also visited and comforted representatives from the religious community.
