The concept of "junction" originated from the land battlefield and refers to the place where two troops are connected in combat deployment, often in areas with weak military deployment. Many examples have shown that if the "joint" is not coordinated properly, it often becomes the "weak point" that is hit by the opponent. In the Battle of Menglianggu in 1947, the Nationalist Army reorganized the 74th Division to change its dense, stable, and coordinated combat formation. It went deep alone, resulting in the formation of a weak "junction" in the combat deployment. Our army decisively seized the fighter jets, launched a rapid attack, and finally, we pulled out our teeth and completely annihilated the enemy. The art of victory, the form of transformation, and the cleverness lies in seizing opportunities. This means the method of winning, and the key to the change in military tactics lies in seizing the enemy's opportunities. In modern warfare, the combat space is multidimensional and the combat forces are diverse. Cross domain combat operations are relatively frequent. Although the boundaries of combat have become increasingly blurred, there are also connections between the combat spaces of land, sea, air, space, electricity, and the internet. In the rapidly changing battlefield, if the coordination of the "joints" is not in place, it often becomes a breakthrough point for opponents to tear open their defenses and launch in-depth attacks. As the saying goes, a snake beats a seven inch wolf. To form and unleash the effectiveness of systematic combat, it is necessary to target the enemy's weaknesses and dead spots, target the weak area of the enemy's "junction", and target the key targets of the enemy's combat system. "Those who come but cannot be lost are also timely; those who dance but cannot be lost are also opportunities." For the "junction", it is necessary to have scientific foresight, be good at seizing the opportunity, calmly analyze and judge, and take the initiative without hesitation. We should fully utilize advanced strategies and technical tactics, flexibly use methods such as concealing truth and showing falsehood, and using the east to attack the west to lure the enemy into deployment errors, and then act decisively to create new victorious advantages in the "ability to strike but not" situation. Integrated joint operations require joint commanders to command multiple branches of the military, including land, sea, air, and fire, and coordinate personnel, weapons, information, and other elements. As long as one aspect is not coordinated properly, communication is not timely, and cooperation is not tacit, it is easy to give the other party an opportunity to take advantage of. If you want to fight one battle and win ten thousand battles, you must unite with one heart. All levels should start from the overall combat situation, reasonably allocate combat resources, smooth the joint command chain, improve the joint combat system, and transform the "joint department" into the "joint department". Change the "junction" to the "responsibility area". "Place oneself in one's position, fulfill one's duties, and be sincere without exceeding one's limits."
