Wuqiao County is a famous "hometown of acrobatics", and its acrobatics can be traced back to the Han Dynasty. For thousands of years, the acrobatic art of Wuqiao has been inherited and developed under the nourishment of the Dayun River, and has gradually spread to various parts of the country and stepped onto the world stage. Yan Yan, Director of the Construction Service Center of Wuqiao Acrobatic Cultural Ecological Protection Experimental Zone, introduced that in recent years, Wuqiao County has fully implemented the "Acrobatic Revitalization" strategy, relying on unique acrobatic cultural resources, vigorously promoting the cultivation of acrobatic talents, creating characteristic acrobatic courtyards in 17 acrobatic professional villages throughout the county, and actively promoting the inheritance and development of acrobatic culture. More than 6000 outstanding acrobatic talents have been transported to various parts of the country, and more than 60 countries and regions have Wuqiao acrobats performing year-round. There are 473 administrative villages in the county, all of which have acrobatic artists. There are over 100 acrobatic villages with over 50 households specializing in acrobatics. Adhering to the principle of shaping tourism through culture and highlighting culture through tourism, Wuqiao County has invested 200 million yuan in the overall improvement of the acrobatic world scenic area. The scenic area integrates multiple functions such as entertainment, performance, participation, and communication, offering both original folk performances and high-tech stages. It has launched multiple high-quality plays such as "Jianghu", "Canal · Impression", and "Times", restoring the performance nodes of "Lvjia Ban" and "Zhao Family Tea House", adding indoor attractions such as "Ghost Hand Residence", "Red Peony Stage", and "Hundred Drama Theater" to recreate the magnificent scene of the "September Temple Fair" in Wuqiao.
