On the evening of February 3, the launching ceremony of the 2024 "Happy Spring Festival" and the concert "Happy Spring Festival in Haojiang" were held at the square in front of the memorial archway of Macao's Grand Sanba. About 60 guests from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Macau Special Administrative Region, the Liaison Office of the Central Government in Macau, and the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Macau attended the event. Before the launch ceremony, astronauts stationed at the Chinese space station held auspicious dragons for the "Happy Spring Festival" and sent Dragon Year wishes from the "Heavenly Palace" to the on-site audience and global Chinese through video. Subsequently, guests from all walks of life took the stage to jointly light up the "auspicious dragon" lanterns and launch the "Happy Spring Festival" event in 2024. After the ceremony, the Macau Chinese Orchestra and Chinese and foreign artists performed classic music pieces such as the Spring Festival Overture, Spring Dance, and Macau Rhapsody together. The "Happy Spring Festival" event in 2024 will hold nearly 500 diverse and rich content exhibition projects in over 100 countries and regions worldwide, and the "Global Lantern Lighting Event" will be held in nearly 20 countries.
