As of now, all 31 provinces have released their GDP growth rates for 2023 and announced their expected GDP growth targets for 2024. According to the data released by 31 provinces, in 2023, 17 provinces had a year-on-year GDP growth rate that surpassed the national average, all exceeding 5.2%. They are Xizang, Hainan, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Ningxia, Gansu, Jilin, Chongqing, Shandong, Zhejiang, Sichuan, Hubei, Jiangsu, Anhui, Hebei, Liaoning and Qinghai. From the perspective of GDP in various regions, Guangdong's GDP has exceeded 13 trillion yuan for the first time, while Shandong and Zhejiang's GDP have exceeded 9 trillion yuan and 8 trillion yuan respectively. In addition, several provinces have achieved significant leaps in their total economic output.
