On the evening of January 31st, a concert was held at the Royal Opera House at the Palace of Versailles in Paris, France to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France and the opening of the Sino French Cultural and Tourism Year. About 500 guests from various fields including politics, economy, culture, tourism, etc. from China and France attended. The opening concert was jointly presented by the Central Ethnic Orchestra and the Royal Opera House Orchestra of Versailles. Musicians from both countries make friends through music and connect their hearts through art, performing a series of classic and innovative pieces that integrate the characteristics of Chinese and French music, reflecting the mutual integration and learning of Chinese and French cultures. During the 2024 Sino French Cultural Tourism Year, China and France will cooperate to hold hundreds of exciting activities throughout the year, covering various fields such as performing arts, visual arts, cultural heritage, and tourism promotion. China will hold key projects in France, including the Chinese Tang Dynasty Cultural Relics Exhibition, the Chinese Lantern Festival, the Gongwang Mansion Costume Show, and the French Tour of the Chinese Symphony Orchestra.
