On January 30th, the Children's Center of Beijing City Library was opened. The Children's Library is located in the southwest of the first floor of the Beijing City Library. It adopts a "library within the library" layout in design, covers an area of 4000 square meters, has a total seating capacity of about 360, and can borrow 60000 books. To meet the reading needs and characteristics of children of different age groups, the library provides segmented services for children aged 0 to 6 and 6 to 12. The reading area for readers aged 0-6 includes parent-child reading, children's Chinese books, children's foreign language books, and an activity area for infants and young children; The reading area for readers aged 6 to 12 aggregates public reading and activity areas such as multimedia reading, knowledge charging stations, creative spaces, children's cinemas, and children's theaters. Here, readers can immerse themselves in reading through a series of high-tech equipment and facilities such as 4D viewing. With the opening of the museum, multiple activities such as the "Cradle Book Fragrance Program" and "Happy Reading for Babies" will continue to be updated. During the Spring Festival, the museum will hold 82 children's activities, including picture book reading, poetry recitation, traditional culture, audio-visual exhibitions, and handicrafts, with the theme of "Childlike Innocence - Dragon Year Treasure Exploration and Music Gathering".
