On the afternoon of January 23rd, a symposium on the exchange of procuratorial organs between China and Thailand was held at the Supreme People's Procuratorate. Tong Jianming, the Executive Deputy Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, attended the meeting and had in-depth discussions and exchanges with members of the Thailand General Prosecutor's Office's inspection and study group in China. Tong Jianming, on behalf of the Supreme Prosecutor's Office, welcomes the visit of the Thai Prosecutor General's Office to China for inspection and study. He stated that China and Thailand are close and friendly neighbors, and with frequent high-level visits between the two countries, bilateral political mutual trust continues to escalate, and cooperation in various fields has achieved remarkable results. Under the framework of multilateral cooperation mechanisms, the connotation of friendly cooperation between the procuratorial organs of the two countries continues to enrich and develop. Tong Jianming briefly introduced to the Thai delegation the functional positioning, prosecutorial work, and prosecutorial reform of China's procuratorial organs. Tong Jianming emphasized that judicial exchanges and cooperation are an important component of China Thailand friendly and cooperative relations. The Supreme People's Procuratorate of China is willing to work with the Thai Prosecutor General's Office to implement the consensus of the leaders of the two countries, closely communicate with the Thai Prosecutor General's Office at all levels in criminal justice assistance, personnel visits and exchanges, prosecutor training, and other aspects, and continuously deepen mutual trust, friendship, and cooperation between the two sides, To jointly provide better judicial security for the construction of the "the Belt and Road" and enhance the well-being of the two peoples. Inspectors Kobukul and Atuek of the Thai Prosecutor General's Office attended the symposium. The Thai delegation expressed gratitude for the support and assistance provided by the Supreme People's Procuratorate of China during the study and inspection period. They introduced the relevant work of the Thai Prosecutor General's Office and hoped to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the Chinese procuratorial organs, making new contributions to the development of friendly relations between the two countries. Officials from the Political Department of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the First Prosecutor's Office, the Legal Policy Research Office, the Case Management Office, the Bureau of International Cooperation, and the Prosecutorial Technology Information Research Center participated in discussions and exchanges, introducing to the Thai delegation the work of China's procuratorial organs on division of responsibilities, misdemeanor governance, procuratorial reform, and data empowerment for legal supervision.
