Zhang Jun said that there is no winner in conflict and war, and delivering more weapons to the battlefield is not conducive to achieving peace. Delaying the war will only cause more civilian casualties. Under no circumstances can diplomatic efforts be abandoned. China calls for immediate direct contact, gradual resumption of negotiations, and accumulation of consensus for a ceasefire and cessation of war. The international community and the United Nations should create positive conditions for this, and other relevant parties should avoid taking non constructive actions and making irresponsible statements. Zhang Jun stated that the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries should be respected, and security cannot be separated. One country's security cannot be at the cost of damaging the security of other countries, and regional security cannot be guaranteed by strengthening or even expanding military groups. The result of NATO's eastward expansion indicates that sacrificing the security of other countries to seek its so-called "absolute security" will only exacerbate the security deficit and trust deficit, and will not help maintain peace and stability. In this regard, NATO should learn from its lessons. Russia and Ukraine are neighbors who cannot be moved away, and their reasonable security concerns should be taken seriously. Finding the fundamental solution to the Ukrainian crisis requires Russia, Ukraine, and relevant parties to uphold a common, comprehensive, cooperative, and sustainable security concept, and to build a balanced, effective, and sustainable security architecture. Zhang Jun pointed out that the current Israeli Palestinian conflict is still ongoing, and some hot issues are still heating up. The world cannot afford the spread of geopolitical conflicts on a larger scale. Countries with significant influence should adopt a responsible attitude and not politicize, instrumentalize, or weaponize the world economy. Instead, they should work together to maintain global food, energy, financial security, and stable and smooth industrial and supply chains. Zhang Jun said that the development of the Ukrainian issue to this point has complex and intricate causes, which deserves serious reflection. There is no simple solution to complex problems. Faced with various challenges, the most fundamental one is to promote the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind and create a world of lasting peace and universal security. All countries should take responsibility and work together towards this direction.
