The Executive Committee of the Yangtze River Delta Ecological and Green Integration Development Demonstration Zone held a press conference on January 16, announcing the "Three Year Action Plan for Major Construction Projects of the Yangtze River Delta Ecological and Green Integration Development Demonstration Zone (2024-2026)". This round of three-year action plan focuses on the key areas of "one hall and three areas" and the four key areas of ecological protection, facility interconnection, industrial innovation, and people's livelihood services, and clearly carries out 16 actions, including a total of 124 projects. Gu Jun, Director of the Executive Committee of the Yangtze River Delta Integration Demonstration Zone, introduced that this round of three-year action plan has defined a roadmap, task book, and schedule for major construction projects in the next three years, marking the deepening of the demonstration zone construction and a vivid practice of promoting cross regional coordination and organic connection of planning, land, and project construction. Among them, as a green development model area jointly built by two provinces and one city, the iconic project "Fangting Water Institute", which started construction in May 2023 and spans three provinces, is expected to achieve basic functional development projects by 2026, forming a new pattern of integration with the surrounding new economy. There are a total of 38 projects in the field of facility interoperability. The Shanghai Suzhou Lake High speed Railway and the western extension of Shanghai Line 17 will be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2024. The construction of the Suzhou Jiaxing Ningbo High speed Railway and the Shanghai Suzhou Jiaxing Intercity Railway will be accelerated. For example, the construction of the Suzhou Lake Intercity Railway and the Jiaxing Fengnan City Railway will also be launched in 2024; At the same time, the "dead end" of digital space is also accelerating. China Telecom's efficient scheduling and training hub for computing power will be completed and put into operation by the end of 2024. Projects such as China Telecom's Wujiang Computing Power Dispatch Center and China Mobile's Fenhu Computing Power Convergence Dispatch Center will also be completed and put into operation by the end of 2026, promoting the construction of a national integrated computing power network and a hub node in the Yangtze River Delta region. There are a total of 34 projects in the field of industrial innovation. Among them, projects such as Anta Shanghai headquarters, Lanjun 32Gwh power battery, and Yunding Xinyao Pharmaceutical Technology will be completed and put into operation in 2024. Projects such as Qingpu Fudan International Integration Innovation Center, Wujiang National Functional Fiber Innovation Center, and Maiwei Pan Semiconductor Equipment will start construction in 2024. Meanwhile, a number of headquarters projects such as Midea, Kangpu, Hengli, and NetEase will also be fully completed and put into use by the end of 2025. There are a total of 22 projects in the field of livelihood services. At present, projects such as the National Medical Center of Zhongshan Hospital affiliated with Fudan University and the expansion of the Fourth People's Hospital in Wujiang District have started construction.
