The special exhibition themed "The Return of Imperial Porcelain" was held at the Jiangxi Provincial Museum on the 8th. This is the first large-scale exhibition of classic imperial porcelain from the Ming and Qing dynasties in Jiangxi, showcasing the ultimate spirit of Jingdezhen's imperial kilns, which are meticulous, refined, and capable. It not only looks back on the development process of Jiangxi's ceramic culture, but also looks forward to a new chapter in the inheritance, innovation, and development of Jiangxi's ceramics. As an insurmountable peak in the history of Chinese porcelain production, the imperial kilns of the Ming and Qing dynasties combined the strengths of various crafts and the essence of traditional culture. This exhibition, in collaboration with 7 cultural and museum units including the Palace Museum and Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln Museum, showcases 180 sets of exquisite imperial porcelain cultural relics, of which 122 pieces are from the Palace Museum. 144 precious cultural relics (sets), accounting for 80%. Some of the treasures, such as the Chenghua Doucai Sanqiu Cup, Kangxi Lang Kiln Red Glazed Guanyin Zun, and Yongzheng Onion Green Glazed Bowl, were exhibited for the first time at the Palace Museum. "The Jiangxi Provincial Museum will take this exhibition as an opportunity to deeply explore the value and connotation of cultural relics resources, tell the Jiangxi story of ceramic culture well, and let more audiences feel the unique charm of excellent traditional Chinese culture, so that the museum can better integrate into people's lives." said the director of the Jiangxi Provincial Museum. The exhibition will continue until April 8th, during which a series of academic lectures, exhibition guides, social education activities and other supporting activities will be launched.
