China Post issues commemorative stamps commemorating the 130th anniversary of the birth of Comrade Mao Zedong

China Post is scheduled to issue a set of four commemorative stamps to commemorate the 130th anniversary of Comrade Mao Zedong's birth on December 26th. The stamp designs are named "Adhering to the Anti Japanese War, Building the Thirteen Tombs Reservoir, Embracing the World, and Resting the Jinggangshan Mountains". The stamp pattern uses digital painting to achieve the visual expression of traditional painting, vividly restoring the majestic image and great spirit of Comrade Mao Zedong, showcasing his magnificent talent and foresight in strategic planning. The picture was provided by China Post. The set of stamps was guided by Mr. Jin Shangyi, designed by Ma Gang and Jin Jun, and printed by Beijing Stamp Factory Co., Ltd. using a photocopying process. The full set of stamps has a face value of 4.80 yuan, with a planned issuance quantity of 7.8 million sets and a planned issuance quantity of 980000 editions for format two. This set of stamps is available for sale at designated postal outlets, philatelic websites, China Post mobile app, China Post Micro Postal Philatelic WeChat Mall, and China Post Mall WeChat Mini Program nationwide, with a sales period of 6 months. To better showcase the content of stamps, China Post will publish digital content through the "China Philatelic Stamp Encyclopedia" WeChat mini program, which can be viewed using the AR function.
