The President of Serbia announces the victory of the ruling party coalition in parliamentary elections

On the evening of the 17th, Serbian President Vu č i ć announced at the headquarters of the Serbian Progressive Party located in the capital Belgrade that the party alliance centered around this ruling party won the National Assembly elections held that day, winning over half of the parliamentary seats required for independent cabinet formation. Vuchi ć said at a press conference that the party alliance centered around his ruling party, the Serbian Progressive Party, "Serbia cannot stop", won over 127 out of 250 seats in parliament and achieved an "absolute victory". He said that Serbia will continue to seek membership in the European Union while defending its territorial integrity. Serbian parliamentary elections are held every 4 years.
