The launch ceremony of the National Tour of the "Sports Power and Chinese Spirit" China Sports Culture Exhibition was recently held at Tsinghua University. The "Sports Power and Chinese Spirit" China Sports Culture Exhibition is an important part of the "Ode to Chinese Sports Spirit" project. The exhibition provides a panoramic review of the development process and brilliant achievements of the sports industry in New China, revisiting the touching sports scenes engraved in the memory of the Chinese nation. The exhibition is divided into sections such as "Striving for the Glory of Sports in the New Era", "Fearless Moving Forward with the Strong Voice of the Era", "National Fitness Igniting China", "Chasing Dreams to Build a Strong Country", and "Extraordinary Winter Olympics Towards the Future". Using pictures and posters as the main forms, it vividly interprets the Chinese sports spirit with "striving for glory for the country, selfless dedication, scientific and pragmatic, abiding by laws and regulations, unity and cooperation, and tenacious struggle" as the main content. Guo Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Tsinghua University, stated that Tsinghua University will take this exhibition as an opportunity to continue promoting the concept of "no sports, no Tsinghua", cultivating more talents with comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor, and contributing to the comprehensive construction of a socialist modernized country and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Zhang Jiasheng, Deputy Director of the General Administration of Sport of China, stated that the China Sports Culture Exhibition presents a panoramic view of the development process of China's sports industry, especially the brilliant achievements of Chinese sports since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. It showcases and praises the rich connotations and vivid atmosphere of the Chinese sports spirit, and uses sports as a link to showcase a trustworthy, lovely, and respectable image of China. Olympic table tennis champion Fan Zhendong and Winter figure skating champion Han Cong participated in the event and shared their sports stories. They combined their experiences and insights of embracing their country, fearless of challenges, and surpassing themselves on the field, interpreting their understanding of the spirit of Chinese sports, and inspiring young students to work harder and serve their country. This event is hosted by the News and Propaganda Department of the Chinese Olympic Committee, and organized by the Sports Department of Tsinghua University and the China Sports Journalists Association.
