On December 14th, the Supreme People's Court held a liaison activity for special supervisors and held a symposium on visiting and researching the Beijing Internet Court. Shen Liang, a member of the Party Group and Vice President of the Supreme People's Court, attended the symposium and delivered a speech. At the symposium, all special supervisors put forward targeted and constructive opinions and suggestions on data security, artificial intelligence, technological innovation applications, digital governance, and other aspects. Shen Liang stated that the Supreme People's Court will carefully review and study the suggestions put forward by the special supervisors one by one, and absorb them in combination with practical work, effectively transforming the opinions and suggestions into a powerful driving force to accelerate the modernization of judicial work. Shen Liang pointed out that in recent years, people's courts have vigorously promoted the construction of internet justice and smart courts, promoted online trial mechanisms, formulated the "three major rules" of online justice, deepened the integration of technology and justice, and continuously explored new models of digital society governance. The quality and efficiency of trials, as well as the convenience and benefits of justice, have significantly improved. Next, the people's courts will continue to make efforts in the trial work in the Internet and digital economy fields, the construction of Internet courts, and the innovative application of judicial technology, actively exploring and improving the informationization construction of people's courts. Shen Liang also introduced to the special supervisors the main work of the People's Court since the beginning of this year, combining the judicial concepts of active justice, "focusing on the front end, treating diseases before they occur", win-win and win-win situations, and resolving cases through political coordination and human harmony. The special supervisors of the Supreme People's Court, Wang Xiaoyun, Wang Guilin, Pi Jianlong, Qi Mingliang, Li Wenhui, Li Peng, Huang Baorong, Guan Xu, and Pan Feng, visited the Beijing Internet Court, listened to the theme report of the Supreme People's Court Information Center on the construction of smart courts, and exchanged speeches at the symposium.
