The reception kicked off with the national anthem of China and South Korea, and a promotional video for the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries was played on site. It reviewed the wonderful moments of friendly exchanges between the two countries and looked forward to the bright future of cooperation between the two countries. Students from Confucius Institutes and art schools, as well as local Chinese art troupes, performed wonderful songs and dances with distinctive ethnic characteristics from both countries. Chinese Ambassador to South Africa, Chen Xiaodong, summarized the historic achievements and valuable experience in the development of China South Africa relations since the establishment of diplomatic relations 25 years ago in his speech. He said that Chinese leaders visited South Africa in August this year and, together with South African President Ramaphosa, led China South Africa relations into a "golden age". China is willing to work with the South to conscientiously implement the important consensus of the two heads of state, actively build the "Four Major Partnership", and work together to build a high-level community with a shared future between China and South Korea. Pandor positively evaluated the development level of bilateral relations in his speech and highly appreciated the achievements of China's state visit to South Africa. He expressed that the South is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China in various fields, and jointly promote the bilateral relationship to create another brilliant future in the next 25 years.
