This is a major strategic decision we have made from the perspective of revitalizing world socialism and achieving long-term peace and stability between China and Vietnam. It is deeply rooted in the traditional friendship between China and Vietnam and is in line with the common interests and aspirations of the two peoples. Looking back, we share the same aspirations and look forward to helping each other. Since modern times, the two parties and peoples of China and Vietnam have adhered to common ideals and beliefs, and have worked together and supported each other in the process of striving for national independence and national liberation. The famous poem by President Ho Chi Minh, "The friendship between Vietnam and China is deep, comrades and brothers", has become an indelible historical memory of that turbulent period for the people of both countries. Based on the present, our original intention is solid and we strive for win-win cooperation. Over the past 15 years of establishing a comprehensive strategic partnership, the two parties of China and Vietnam have adhered to putting the people at the center, vigorously promoting mutually beneficial cooperation, and bringing tangible benefits to the people of both countries. Looking ahead, our future is related and our destiny is shared. China is comprehensively promoting the construction of a powerful country and national rejuvenation with Chinese path to modernization, and Vietnam is vigorously promoting the construction of industrialization and modernization. China will unswervingly follow the path of peaceful development, adhere to the neighborhood diplomacy policy of friendship and partnership with its neighbors, and the neighborhood diplomacy concept of amity, sincerity, mutual benefit and inclusiveness, so as to make Chinese path to modernization more beneficial to neighboring countries. Today, China and Vietnam have eloquently demonstrated to the world with their remarkable achievements in economic and social development that the development path chosen by both sides is completely correct, and strengthening unity and cooperation between the two countries is conducive to the development of their respective socialist undertakings. I hope that friendly individuals from all walks of life in both countries, especially the younger generation, will become leaders in the journey of China Vietnam friendship, contributing to the realization of their respective countries' century long struggle and the construction of a strategically significant community with a shared future between China and Vietnam.
