Meter gauge refers to a railway with a gauge of 1 meter. At the end of 2017, with the joint promotion of multiple departments such as railways and customs between China and Vietnam, the Central Asia International Freight Train relied on the China Vietnam meter gauge railway to operate. Through the "five fixed" method of fixed loading location, operating route, train number, arrival and departure time, and transportation price, the China Vietnam meter gauge train realized the form of train operation for international freight trains, departing from China Kaiyuan and Vietnam Haiphong. Since the beginning of this year, the China Vietnam meter gauge Central Asian international freight trains have continued to increase in volume, with stable daily operation of 2 to 4 trains, effectively ensuring the rapid circulation and distribution of goods between China and ASEAN countries.
