On December 7, the unveiling of the "the Belt and Road" procuratorial research base of the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the opening ceremony of the forum "Deeply integrate procuratorial work in the new era and jointly build the" the Belt and Road "were held in Xi'an. Chen Guoqing, member of the Party Group of the Supreme People's Procuratorate and Deputy Prosecutor General, Liu Qiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Political and Legal Affairs Committee, and Lu Jianjun, Secretary of the Party Committee of Xi'an Jiaotong University, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Wang Xuguang, Secretary of the Party Group and Chief Prosecutor of the Shaanxi Provincial Procuratorate, presided over the opening ceremony. Chen Guoqing, Liu Qiang, Wang Xuguang and Lu Jianjun jointly unveiled the "the Belt and Road" procuratorial research base for the highest level inspection. Chen Guoqing stressed that the construction of the "the Belt and Road" procuratorial research base is an important arrangement of the development plan of procuratorial work during the "14th Five Year Plan" period, which aims to integrate procuratorial theory and practical resources in a larger range, better serve and guarantee the high-quality development of the "the Belt and Road". The procuratorial research base should base itself on Shaanxi, drive the northwest and radiate across the country, give full play to its exemplary role, train procuratorial talents, expand legal research, deepen judicial cooperation, enrich procuratorial practice, practice procuratorial mission, and provide all-round services to ensure the construction of the "the Belt and Road". We need to fully coordinate the various forces involved in the construction of the base, clarify work responsibilities, form a working force, improve work mechanisms, and promote the physical and substantive operation of the base with high quality. The next step is to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in theoretical practice, cooperation between prosecutors and revisers, regional cooperation and other aspects, jointly build and use the procuratorial research base, and make positive contributions to promoting the high-quality development of the the Belt and Road Initiative.
