Beijing, December 7th (Xinhua) - According to the official website of the National Health Commission, in order to standardize medical supervision and law enforcement behavior, improve the level of medical supervision and law enforcement, and safeguard the health rights and interests of the people, the National Health Commission, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the National Bureau of Disease Control and Prevention jointly studied and formulated the "Norms for Medical Supervision and Law Enforcement Work (Trial)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Norms"). The Norms clearly define the scope and content of medical supervision, refine and decompose supervision and law enforcement responsibilities, and propose work requirements. They provide guidance on supervision and law enforcement content and methods in seven aspects, including institutional qualifications, and further regulate the handling of supervision and law enforcement situations. It is divided into five chapters and thirty-four articles: Chapter One is the General Provisions. Clarified the basis for the formulation of the Norms, the definition and scope of medical supervision. Chapter 2 is about the responsibilities and requirements for supervising law enforcement. The work responsibilities of health administrative departments at all levels and their entrusted health supervision agencies have been refined and decomposed, and specific work requirements have been proposed. Chapter 3 is about the content and methods of supervision and law enforcement. The main contents and methods of supervision and inspection on institutional qualifications, medical and health personnel qualifications, clinical application management of medical technology, maternal and child health technology services, clinical use of drugs and medical devices, traditional Chinese medicine services, and medical quality and safety management are clarified in seven sections. Emphasize the serious consequences of illegal behavior and the strong operability of actual supervision and inspection. Chapter 4 is the handling of supervision and law enforcement situations. Based on the characteristics of medical supervision and law enforcement work, provisions shall be made for the supervision and law enforcement results of handling, punishing, transferring, and incorporating them into the integrity management system in accordance with the law. Chapter 5 is a supplementary provision. Clarify the situation of major medical violations and specify the implementation time of the Regulations. The Regulations require that various regions, based on their actual work, standardize medical supervision and law enforcement behaviors, improve the level of medical supervision and law enforcement, and safeguard the health rights and interests of the people.
