The United Nations Environment Programme website publishes the fourth batch of judicial cases and reports on China's environmental resources

Recently, the fourth batch of 15 Chinese environmental and resource judicial cases were published in the United Nations Environment Programme's Environmental Law Database and related portal websites, along with two environmental judicial reports, China Environmental and Resource Trial (2022) and China Biodiversity Judicial Protection. The case is a language that countries around the world can understand. According to the memorandum of understanding signed between the Supreme People's Court and the United Nations Environment Programme on strengthening case exchange, both parties have agreed to establish a dedicated section in the United Nations Environment Programme Environmental Law Database and related portal websites to continuously publish relevant information on China's environmental resource trials, and share typical cases of China's environmental justice with countries around the world. As of now, 4 batches of 45 typical cases of China's environmental and resource trials and 8 judicial reports have been included, and special summaries and links have been made in the legal and case section of the United Nations multilateral environmental agreement information portal, becoming an important platform to showcase the effectiveness of China's environmental and resource trials and deepen international exchanges and cooperation in environmental law. The international influence of China's environmental justice continues to increase.? Elizabeth Murema, Assistant Secretary General of the United Nations and Deputy Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme, stated that the United Nations Environment Programme has been committed to building a global environmental law database since 2017. Over time, the proportion of Chinese cases in the database has been increasing and has significant global influence. Patricia Mobott, Director of the Legal and Convention Department of the United Nations Environment Programme, commented that China has achieved remarkable and inspiring achievements in promoting environmental rule of law, and is in a leading position in global environmental governance.
