On December 4th, People's Daily Zhuhai (Reporter He Linping) - The 2nd Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area Forum and 5th International Student Festival of the European and American Alumni Association, with the theme of "Study Abroad for China · Smart Bay Area", recently opened in Zhuhai, Guangdong. Ding Zhongli, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and President of the European and American Alumni Association, attended the opening ceremony. More than 800 guests, including officials from relevant national departments, experts and scholars, guests from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, and representatives of returned overseas students, attended the opening ceremony. On the opening day of the event, a keynote forum and four parallel forums were held. The industry renowned experts, outstanding talents returning from overseas studies, and outstanding entrepreneurs attending the conference gave speeches and exchanges around the theme of high-quality development in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, further consolidating the wisdom of overseas talents, leading more overseas talents to promote the tradition of studying abroad and serving the country, and contributing the strength of overseas talents to deepen the construction of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. During the forum, activities such as roadshows for overseas returnee innovation and entrepreneurship projects will be held simultaneously. At the opening ceremony, 20 key projects for overseas students in Zhuhai were signed on site.
