The crux of the Palestinian Israeli conflict lies in the Palestinian people's delay in realizing their legitimate national rights to independence and statehood. The painful lessons of the repeated conflict between Palestine and Israel fully demonstrate that only by adhering to the concept of common security can sustainable security be achieved. The international community must take urgent action, and the United Nations Security Council should take responsibility and make every effort to promote a ceasefire and end the war, protect the safety of civilians, and stop humanitarian disasters. On this basis, we will restart the peace talks between Palestine and Israel as soon as possible, and realize the Palestinian people's right to establishment, survival, and return as soon as possible. The fundamental solution to the Palestinian issue lies in establishing an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital and full sovereignty. The livelihood needs of the Palestinian economy should be guaranteed, and the international community should increase development and humanitarian assistance to Palestine. We must adhere to the correct direction of peace talks and convene more authoritative international peace conferences as soon as possible. China has proposed a global security initiative, advocating for resolving differences and disputes between countries through dialogue and consultation, and supporting all efforts that are conducive to peaceful resolution of crises. China will continue to uphold fairness and justice in the Palestinian issue, actively promote peace talks, and continue to provide humanitarian and development assistance to the Palestinian side. As a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, China will continue to work together with the international community to consolidate international consensus and promote the return of the Palestinian issue to the correct track of the "two-state solution", in order to achieve a comprehensive, just, and lasting solution as soon as possible.
