On November 28th, Premier Li Qiang attended the opening ceremony of the first China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo and the Global Supply Chain Innovation and Development Forum in Beijing, and delivered a keynote speech. Li Qiang stated that the China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo is the world's first national level exhibition with a supply chain theme. The current global economic recovery is difficult. Consolidating and strengthening global industrial and supply chain cooperation is a matter of mutual interest and urgent expectation. China's hosting of the Chain Expo is to respond to the call of the times and create an international platform that promotes strengthened communication, deepened cooperation, and common development among all parties. Li Qiang pointed out that both history and reality have proven that when global industrial and supply chain cooperation remains stable and continues to deepen, countries around the world generally benefit; When global industrial and supply chain cooperation is hindered and stagnant, countries around the world generally suffer. China is not only a participant and beneficiary of global industrial and supply chain cooperation, but also a staunch maintainer and builder. China is willing to work with all parties to make the global industrial and supply chains more resilient, efficient, and dynamic, and make greater contributions to promoting world economic recovery and global development and prosperity. Li Qiang proposed four initiatives to deepen international cooperation in industrial and supply chains: firstly, to jointly build a safe and stable industrial and supply chain. Strengthen resource coordination of key industrial chains on a global scale and refrain from arbitrary interference in market behavior. China will continue to provide the world with high-quality Chinese made products and stable Chinese supply. The second is to jointly build a smooth and efficient industrial and supply chain. Further strengthen global connectivity and enable more convenient circulation and effective allocation of resources. China will continue to promote high-quality cooperation to jointly build the "the Belt and Road" and strengthen innovative cooperation in intelligent manufacturing, digital economy and other fields. The third is to jointly build an open and inclusive industrial and supply chain. We firmly oppose protectionism and various forms of decoupling and disconnection, while striving to promote the green and low-carbon transformation of industrial and supply chains. China will further integrate into the global industrial and supply chain system and actively participate in international cooperation in the field of green development. The fourth is to jointly build a mutually beneficial industrial and supply chain. Promote the construction of a global industrial and supply chain system with extensive participation, complementary advantages, and shared benefits among countries. China will actively promote industrial and production capacity cooperation with other countries, and drive developing countries to participate more deeply in the global value chain. We hope that entrepreneurs from all countries can play a positive role in promoting the stable operation of global industrial and supply chains. China will provide more convenience and better protection for enterprises from various countries to invest and develop in China. Indonesian President Joko, Uruguayan President Rakare, Director General of the World Trade Organization Ivira, Secretary General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development Greenspan, and others delivered video speeches at the opening ceremony.
