On November 23rd, the cross regional cooperation symposium on civil support for prosecution by procuratorial organs was held in Luzhou, Sichuan. The procuratorates of 12 provinces (cities), including Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Shandong, Henan, Guangdong, Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, and Yunnan, jointly signed the "Framework Agreement for Strengthening Cross regional Cooperation in Civil Support Prosecution" (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement"); Ten city level procuratorates in Changzhi, Shanxi, Nanjing, Jiangsu, Ningbo, Zhejiang, Xiamen, Fujian, Shenzhen, Guangdong, Nanning, Guangxi, Chongqing, Luzhou, Sichuan, Guiyang, Guizhou, and Xining, Qinghai jointly signed the Implementation Opinions on Strengthening Cross regional Cooperation Mechanisms for Civil Support and Prosecution. The agreement clearly states that all cooperating procuratorial organs should uphold an objective and fair stance, increase cooperation efforts, and form a working force; Focusing on civil subjects with weak litigation capabilities such as minors, elderly people, disabled persons, women, and migrant workers, we will increase cross regional cooperation in civil support and prosecution for key types of cases such as revocation or change of guardianship, recovery of child support, support for child rearing, child rearing, request for disability compensation, recovery of labor remuneration, and social insurance benefits. According to the Agreement, each cooperating procuratorial organ will further establish and improve three working mechanisms: joint meetings, information sharing, and business exchange, standardize the transfer of clues and the resolution of jurisdictional disputes, strengthen procuratorial cooperation in retrieving evidence from other places and resolving conflicts and disputes, and integrate the multi-dimensional resolution mechanism of conflicts and disputes into the cross regional cooperation work of civil support prosecution. It is reported that under the guidance of the Sixth Procuratorate of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, 12 provincial (city) level procuratorates and 10 city level procuratorates from major labor exporting and importing provinces will jointly explore the establishment of a provincial-level cross regional cooperation mechanism for civil support prosecution, gradually breaking geographical restrictions, providing convenience for more special groups to seek judicial protection, and continuously promoting the innovative development of the civil support prosecution system.
