The Finance and Economic Commission of the National People's Congress and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism held a symposium on the 10th anniversary of the implementation of the Tourism Law in Beijing on November 27th. Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Zhang Qingwei, attended and delivered a speech. Zhang Qingwei pointed out that over the past decade, the implementation of the Tourism Law has played an important role in safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of tourists and tourism operators, regulating the order of the tourism market, and promoting the sustainable and healthy development of the tourism industry. Improving and implementing the Tourism Law is an inevitable requirement for promoting high-quality development and building a new development pattern. It is a practical need to promote the integration of culture and tourism, meet the needs of people's better lives, and strengthen the construction of the tourism rule of law and regulate the order of the tourism market.
