The 6th Member Representative Conference of the China Association for Discipline Inspection and Supervision was held in Beijing from November 20th to 21st. Sun Xinyang, Deputy Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and Deputy Director of the National Supervisory Commission, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting pointed out that since its establishment more than 30 years ago, the Chinese Society of Supervision has always closely adhered to the central tasks of the Party and closely combined with supervisory practice to carry out work. It has played a positive role in promoting theoretical and policy research, promoting academic exchange and practical development. The renamed China Association for Discipline Inspection and Supervision is an irreplaceable force in promoting the development of the discipline inspection and supervision industry. We must remember its nature and purpose, faithfully fulfill our duties and responsibilities, and strive to serve the theory and practice of discipline inspection and supervision, the scientific decision-making of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervision Commission, and the performance of discipline inspection and supervision cadres. Adhere to focusing on the center and serving the main business, deepen theoretical research, strengthen practical research, actively offer suggestions and suggestions, build a platform, promote communication, and gather consensus, focusing on the practice of rectification, discipline and anti-corruption, and build a strong foundation for the research and dissemination of discipline inspection and supervision theory with Chinese characteristics; Adhere to the principle of using heart and emotion, caring for cadres, making good use of and managing the Sword Fund, serving cadres and employees with enthusiasm, actively conveying organizational warmth, enhancing a sense of honor and belonging, and inspiring cohesion and combat effectiveness; Adhere to strict management, standardized operation, sound work mechanisms, strengthen self-restraint, consciously accept supervision, vigorously promote a pragmatic, honest, and frugal style, high standards, high quality, and high efficiency, and strive to create a new situation in work. In order to meet the needs of high-quality development of disciplinary inspection and supervision work in the new era and new journey, the China Supervision Association has been renamed as the China Discipline Inspection and Supervision Association. The conference passed the newly revised articles of association and work report, elected a new council, and Wu Yuliang, former deputy secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and chairman of the 13th National People's Congress Supervision and Judicial Committee, was elected as the president of the association. The meeting was chaired by Zhao Shiyong, a member of the Standing Committee of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and a member of the National Supervisory Commission. Vice Minister of Civil Affairs Zhang Chunsheng attended, and representatives of members of the China Association for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, as well as relevant officials from the Social Organization Management Bureau of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, attended.
