The Jinzhong Capital Site Park displays the "Old City Wall"

Under the winter sun, crows and magpies fly over the "city walls" of Jinzhongdu and disappear between the towering skyscrapers on both sides, as if 870 years of time overlap here. On November 25th, the reporter learned from Fengtai District that the Jinzhong City Ruins Park, with a total area of about 15 hectares, will create a "panoramic museum at the beginning of Beijing's capital", of which 2.6 hectares have already been opened in advance. There are four existing sites and relics related to Jinzhongdu in Beijing, three of which are located in Fengtai, namely the Shuiguan Site of Jinzhongdu, the Ruins of Jinzhongdu City, and the Lotus Pond. Among them, there are only three remaining walls on the surface of Jinzhongdu City, located in Fenghuangzui Village, Wanquansi Village, and Gaolou Village in Lugouqiao Township, Fengtai District, meandering within the Lize Financial and Business District. The Jinzhongdu City Ruins Park, located on the west side of the Lize Ping An Financial Center, was initially opened. The central green wall, which is over a foot high, was designed in rammed earth color to create an image of the city wall. The figure shows the relationship between the capital of the Jin Dynasty and major cities during the same period. How to protect and make good use of the Jinzhongdu Cultural Site in the planning and construction of the Lize Financial and Business District? The government of Fengtai District had a plan for a long time: in 2016, following the concept of cultural relic protection and planning first, Fengtai District completed the preparation of the "Jinzhong Capital City Relics Protection Plan" and proposed to include the protection of the Jinzhong Capital City Relics in the planning and construction of the Lize Financial and Business District. Combined with the L-shaped trend of the city wall ruins, a belt shaped green construction site park was set up to form an organic combination of protection and utilization suggestions with future development, And included in the "Overall Green Space Plan of Lize Financial Business District" and the "Comprehensive Implementation Plan of Lize Financial Business District Plan". The 2.6 hectares that were initially opened are located on the west side of the Lize Ping An Financial Center, within an L-shaped vertical. Entering the already open Jinzhong City Ruins Park, the central green space is elevated, and the over one foot high wall is designed in rammed earth color, forming the image of Jinzhong City Wall. The northernmost end is slightly raised, and the green space is still lush in winter. The relevant person in charge of the Fengtai District Landscape and Greening Bureau introduced that the Jinzhong City Ruins Park is designed with the concept of "millennium dialogue and integration of ancient and modern", positioning itself as a "cultural park that records the long history and great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation" and "the front garden and reception hall of the Lize Financial and Business District". It emphasizes the close connection between historical culture and the new era international financial and business district, and will become a cultural booster of the Lize Financial and Business District. The "L" shape of Jinzhongdu City Ruins Park, with a width of about 60 meters and a length of over 2300 meters, is located in the core area of Lize Financial and Business District from northwest to southeast. It is divided into three parts: ruins protection zone, business and leisure zone, and natural ecological zone. The middle part is about 24 meters away from the site protection zone, where small shrubs or perennial flowers are planted to prevent damage to underground cultural relics. The nearby roads on both sides are natural ecological zones, where local plants are planted to form a near natural ecological form. The side near the building is a business and leisure zone, with some leisure facilities and urban furniture added to create a "business reception hall", which is convenient for business people and surrounding residents to relax outdoors. The park fully integrates cultural elements and is divided into five areas from north to south: river, gate, city, square, and art. Through modern landscape language such as garden landscape, architectural sketches, and spatial design, it continues the river city system and Central Plains culture of Jinzhongdu
