In October, railway passenger volume increased by 194.1% year-on-year, waterway passenger volume increased by 117.3% year-on-year, civil aviation passenger volume increased by 252% year-on-year, and highway personnel turnover increased by 44% year-on-year; The completed commercial freight volume reached 4.82 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 11.7%. Among them, the railway freight volume increased by 4.6%, the road freight volume increased by 12.7%, the waterway freight volume increased by 11.1%, and the civil aviation freight volume increased by 37.7%; The port's cargo throughput reached 1.49 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 8.1%. The domestic and foreign trade throughput increased by 7.7% and 9% respectively, and the container throughput reached 26.32 million TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 2.9%. In October, 354.1 billion yuan of transportation fixed assets investment was completed. In the first 10 months, the fixed assets investment in transportation was 3231.6 billion yuan, up 4.3% year on year. Among them, the fixed assets investment in roads and waterways was 2568.5 billion yuan, up 4.1% year on year. This laid a solid foundation to ensure the completion of the annual investment goal, and also provided strong service support to promote the overall improvement of economic operation. On this basis, a large number of major transportation projects are being orderly promoted. In terms of comprehensive transportation hubs, we have deeply implemented the national comprehensive freight hub to supplement and strengthen the chain, and have cumulatively allocated 12 billion yuan to support two batches of 25 hub cities, promoting the construction of about 300 freight hub projects and more than 100 collection and distribution projects. In terms of highways, the review of 204 highway projects (46 expressways and 158 ordinary highways) within the 14th Five Year Plan has been completed. 43 bottleneck sections of national highways have been completed and under construction, with a total length of approximately 2170 kilometers, accounting for 77.5% of the 14th Five Year Plan construction tasks.
