Among the newly elected academicians of the CAS Member, there are 10 in the Department of Mathematical Physics, 10 in the Department of Chemistry, 11 in the Department of Life Sciences and Medicine, 8 in the Department of Geology, 8 in the Department of Information Technology Science, and 12 in the Department of Technology Science. The average age of newly elected academicians is 54.7 years, with a minimum age of 45 years and a maximum age of 65 years. 90% of them are under the age of 60 (inclusive). Five female scientists were elected. The disciplinary distribution and age structure of the academician team are further optimized. After this co election, there are 873 academicians of the CAS Member. Among the newly elected academicians of the CAE Member, there are 10 in the Department of Mechanical and Transportation Engineering, 10 in the Department of Information and Electronic Engineering, 9 in the Department of Chemical, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, 8 in the Department of Energy and Mining Engineering, 8 in the Department of Civil, Water Resources and Building Engineering, 8 in the Department of Environmental and Light Textile Engineering, 10 in the Department of Agriculture, and 11 in the Department of Medicine and Health, involving 43 first level disciplines, covering 78.2% of secondary subjects in the guidelines for the selection of academicians. The average age of newly elected academicians is 58.2 years, with a minimum age of 48 years and a maximum age of 76 years. 81.1% of them are under the age of 60 (inclusive).
