Perception of Chinese culture: non-stop and continuous steps

My name is Evelyn Cen Cen, and my Chinese name is Cen Anqi. I come from Venezuela. I am a girl who likes to laugh, confident and love life. I usually like reading, sports, making Dim sum and watching movies. In the vast sea of books and exciting movies and TV dramas, I came into contact with Chinese culture and gradually fell in love with it. For many years, I have been longing for the opportunity to come to China and explore the mysteries hidden in this land. This year, I was granted the opportunity to study abroad in China as I wished. From the moment I stepped into the campus gate, my story with Chinese culture began. I am visiting Yuexiu Mountain. Guangzhou is a cultural city with a long history of over 2000 years. It is the center and birthplace of Lingnan culture, with an inexhaustible "Cantonese charm". As spring returns to the earth and everything recovers, the school teachers lead us international students into the famous and beautiful Yuexiu Park to experience the cultural atmosphere and heritage of Guangzhou. In Yuexiu Park, flowers bloom on both sides of the road, and in the bright sunshine, the people who play in the park enjoy their own peaceful time: there are young couples strolling with their children, and the family is happy and harmonious; There are also grandparents holding hands walking slowly and whispering; There are also three or five cheerful friends who chat, adding a touch of vitality to the spring filled park. The creatures in the park are also an indispensable part of this vibrant scene: in the lake, a black swan sometimes straightens its neck and heads up, and sometimes drinks water with its head raised. It is more elegant than a fairy; Not far away, several peacocks with gorgeous postures were chasing each other, not very lively. The only regret was that they couldn't appreciate the magnificent scene of the peacock opening the screen that day. Yuexiu Park (picture/Guangzhou Forestry and Landscape Bureau) follows the direction of the sign and walks up the stairs, and we soon see the Ming Dynasty ancient city walls extending to both sides. Looking up, the towering ancient city wall is majestic and dignified; Touching the mottled moss on the wall, it seems like one can feel the vicissitudes of time. It is the only section of the Ming Dynasty city wall preserved in Guangzhou, and also the oldest existing city wall in Guangzhou. It embodies the wisdom and strength of ancient people and carries a rich history of over 600 years. Walking up the ancient city wall, you can reach Zhenhai Tower, which is also known as the "Three Great Monuments of the Early Ming Dynasty in Guangzhou". This antique building was first built in the 13th year of the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty and has undergone five damages and five constructions. It has now been transformed into a "Guangzhou Museum", witnessing the magnificent historical process of Guangzhou. Climbing up the stairs and overlooking the railing, you can have a panoramic view of Yangcheng; As I walked downstairs in Zhenhai, I only felt the grandeur of the couplet under the plaque, which read "Millions of calamities, dangerous buildings still exist. Who is picking the bucket and mopping the sky? My eyes are empty now and ancient; five hundred years ago, so Hou An is here, making me lean against the railing and watch the sword, shedding tears on heroes". It made me feel the grandeur and heroism of crossing ancient and modern times. During the break, we bought red bean lollipops at the snack bar. While experiencing the long history of Guangzhou, enjoying the beautiful scenery of Yuexiu Park, and savoring the sweet taste of lollipop, I felt an unprecedented sense of satisfaction. This leisurely and elegant atmosphere has added to my love for the city of Guangzhou. After the delicious red bean lollipop left Zhenhai Building, we set off for the next destination, which is also the focus of our trip - five
