On November 10th, American technology company Humane released its first AI hardware product, Ai Pin. This new product, like a pin that can be pinned to clothes and the size of an egg, can achieve functions such as taking photos, making phone calls, and real-time translation. It is considered a challenger for smartphones. AI is accelerating the drive for hardware innovation, and in the future, it may give rise to a large number of AI hardware new intelligent products. From the perspective of technological innovation, this is an innovative exploration that pushes AI from "concept" to "implementation". Ai Pin not only sets up sensors and is equipped with an AI large model developed based on GPT-4, but also innovates interaction methods. It does not have a screen like a mobile phone, but instead uses laser projection to project the display interface onto the palm of the hand, which can be controlled through clicks, gestures, and voice commands.
