On November 16th, the second New Era Mediation Forum was held in the Hengqin Guangdong Macao Deep Cooperation Zone in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. Yan Jindong, Deputy Director of the People's Participation and Promotion of the Rule of Law Bureau of the Ministry of Justice, and Lin Chuming, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Justice, attended the meeting. More than 120 representatives from the judicial administration system, court system, higher education institutions, mediation institutions, and the lawyer industry from all over the country attended the meeting. At the opening ceremony, Meng Tingting, Deputy Editor in Chief of the People's Mediation Magazine, announced the list of award-winning candidates for the second New Era Mediation Forum. Subsequently, a signing and unveiling ceremony was held for the "Bay Area Practice Center for Mediation Theory Research and Talent Training Base of the Ministry of Justice". The forum is divided into two stages: keynote speech and sub forum. During the keynote speech segment, Xiong Fei, Director of the Public Legal Service Management Bureau of the Ministry of Justice, and Chen Liaomin, President of the First Division of the Hangzhou Intermediate People's Court in Zhejiang Province, delivered keynote speeches. The sub forums are divided into three main themes: "Fengqiao Experience and People's Mediation", "Court Mediation and Administrative Mediation", and "Commercial Mediation and Specialized Mediation". Experts and scholars from universities such as Tsinghua University and Renmin University of China, as well as mediation practice experts from mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao, have conducted in-depth exchanges on the development and innovation of mediation in the new era. This forum is guided by the People's Participation and Promotion of the Rule of Law Bureau of the Ministry of Justice, the All China Association of People's Mediators, and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Justice. It is hosted by Xiangtan University, People's Mediation Magazine, and the Mediation Theory Research and Talent Training Base of the Ministry of Justice.
