2023-11-16
In recent years, China and Africa have continued to deepen practical agricultural cooperation on mechanisms and platforms such as the the Belt and Road Initiative and the Forum on China Africa Cooperation, with fruitful results. Agriculture is a pillar industry in many African countries. Through technical assistance, China helps African countries expand their crop cultivation, increase agricultural production and added value of agricultural products, and promote the modernization of African agriculture. In August of this year, China announced the implementation of the "China Assists Africa in Agricultural Modernization Plan", proposing to further explore new paths of cooperation with Africa within the framework of the Forum on China Africa Cooperation, and comprehensively promote practical cooperation in agriculture between China and Africa.
