On November 13th, the reporter learned from the Shandong Provincial Government that the final of the Second National Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Shandong Provincial People's Government, has come to an end in Yantai City, Shandong Province. 1457 participating teams participated in the finals, and after intense competition, a total of 55 gold awards, 109 silver awards, and 164 bronze awards were generated. It is understood that this is the largest, highest level, and most extensive national postdoctoral innovation and entrepreneurship event held since the implementation of the postdoctoral system in China. The competition has set up four categories: innovation competition, entrepreneurship competition, overseas (overseas) competition, and unveiling and leading competition. There are seven major tracks, including new generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy and new materials, biopharmaceutical and health, modern agriculture and food, marine development and application, and other industries, attracting a total of 25000 participants. Chen Zhitao, a postdoctoral fellow from the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat sen University, and his team participated in the "Creation and Clinical Application of a Non Ischemic Liver Perfusion System" project. In his view, the project not only provides revolutionary technology for organ transplantation, but also expands to form innovative platforms such as organ isolation treatment and disease organ drug screening. Zhang Shuai, a postdoctoral fellow at the Aerospace Aerodynamics Mobile Station of Tsinghua University, believes that "the times are summoning young scientific research talents, and the times will also achieve young scientific research talents."
