This is my first time in China, and I want to give my bamboo weaving works as gifts to my family and friends. "On the 9th, in Chongzhou, Sichuan, under the guidance of Yang Longmei, the inheritor of Daoming Bamboo Weaving, Jin Lili, a student from Carlton College in the United States, folded the thin and even colored bamboo strips vertically or horizontally. Soon, she used bamboo weaving to" wear "clothes for the giant panda handicraft in the hollow out painting. On November 9th, in Chongzhou, Sichuan, Qiao Shuya, a student from Mingde College in the United States, participated in the live broadcast while weaving bamboo weaving. On the day of Wang Liwen's photography, 23 students from 17 universities in the United States, including Yale University and Mingde College, arrived in Chongzhou, Sichuan and walked into Daoming Town, which is famous for its bamboo weaving. By visiting local villages, experiencing bamboo weaving, participating in live broadcasts and salon exchanges, college students conduct on-site research on issues such as rural revitalization and intangible cultural heritage protection, in order to deepen their understanding of Chinese language and culture and gain a more authentic and three-dimensional understanding of China. Daoming Town, Chongzhou City is located in the western Sichuan Plain, with abundant bamboo resources and a long history of bamboo weaving. Daoming bamboo weaving has the characteristics of soft coloring, unique design, and exquisite craftsmanship, and is listed as a representative project of China's national intangible cultural heritage. In recent years, a new generation of inheritors of bamboo weaving have deeply explored the connotation of bamboo culture, promoting the bamboo weaving industry to stages such as the Philadelphia Flower Show in the United States and the East Asian Cultural Capital Activity Year in Jeonju, South Korea. Through the model of "cluster creation+scale production", Daoming bamboo weaving has broken the fragmented survival state and formed a new trend of intangible cultural heritage illuminating rural development. In 2022, the annual output value of Daoming bamboo weaving products was 21.95 million yuan, and the local area received 884200 tourists throughout the year. On November 9th, 23 college students from 17 universities in the United States walked into Chongzhou, Sichuan to experience bamboo weaving. Wang Liwen watched as bamboo strips and threads turned into exquisite works of art in the hands of bamboo craftsmen, which American college students were amazed by. Under the leadership of Yang Longmei, students have experienced the charm of bamboo weaving techniques and started designing and creating bamboo weaving crafts for themselves. Each student holds a hollow out painting of a giant panda, and they hold bamboo to pick or press. Colorful bamboo strips quickly weave into pieces of cloth, and the "clothes" of the giant panda are ready. The process of transforming natural materials into beautiful handicrafts is wonderful, "said Bai Haoyu, a student at Colby College in the United States. His parents come from Peru and his mother used natural materials to create handicrafts during her childhood. In Daoming bamboo weaving, he found commonalities between different cultures. I have been interested in intangible cultural heritage since I was young. I want to learn more about the cultures of different places and protect these traditional skills. While weaving bamboo weaving and participating in live streaming, Bai Haoyu believes that rural China has shown him more possibilities for cultural inheritance and protection. He said that getting started with bamboo weaving is not difficult, and using technology such as live streaming can help more people understand the history and culture here. In Zhuyi Village of Daoming Town, green bamboo covers and green water surrounds. In front and behind the house, local craftsmen weave bamboo products such as handbags and bamboo baskets, with a wide variety. Joshua, a third year student at Minder College in the United States, likes to learn about local life through firsthand experiences. He exclaimed that the richness and beauty of rural China are unforgettable. At the craftsman's booth, Joshua bought a bamboo weaving
