Author: Feng Li (Dean of the Chinese Children's Art Theatre) After years of work in children's drama, I have discovered that children's drama is a world language. With the development of the times and the enhancement of national cultural soft power, the seeds of Chinese civilization are taking root in different lands through children's drama. In 2018, the American version of "Idiom Rubik's Cube" was performed at the 8th China Children's Drama Festival. The Chinese Story: Idiom Rubik's Cube "was originally an original children's drama work in China. It tells traditional idiom stories to children in a childlike artistic form and has been performed in countries such as Singapore, which is very popular among local audiences. At the Drama Festival, 10 American students performed three new Chinese idiom stories in both Chinese and English: "Ban Men Che Axe", "Dong Shi Miu Mei", and "Ye Gong Hao Long". The audience was amused by the "Yang Lu Ban", "Yang Xishi", and "Yang Ye Gong" on stage. To this day, "Idiom Rubik's Cube" has been performed multiple times by American high school students in both Chinese and English in the United States and China, showcasing the Chinese wisdom embedded in classical Chinese culture. In fact, children's drama is particularly adept at telling Chinese stories well, and the exploration and display of excellent traditional culture has also attracted the attention of more and more foreign audiences eager to understand Chinese national culture. The original children's drama "Three Monks" has been performing in Japan, Germany, Spain, Finland, Denmark, France, Pakistan, Iceland, Malta, South Africa, Chile, Peru and other places since its premiere in 2014. It has traveled across five continents in five years and has become a world-renowned representative work of Chinese children's drama. It has been invited to perform at major children's drama festivals around the world. This work integrates a large number of curious Chinese elements such as kung fu, opera, and Zen in modern aesthetics and theatrical thinking, presenting a stage full of Eastern charm and the popular language of contemporary international theater. It tells the familiar folk stories of the Chinese people in a warm, bright, and inclusive manner. In the Chinese children's drama "Snipes, Clams, and Fish", which was also performed at sea, we used traditional Chinese ink painting as inspiration to design a dance background, and added elements of Chinese classical music to the soundtrack. We used Chinese aesthetics to interpret the Chinese classical story of "Snipes and Clams Compete, Fishermen Benefit" in its original form. In China, children aged three or four can understand 'Snipe, Clam, and Fish', which is naturally easy for foreign audiences who cannot speak the language to understand. This is due to the fact that the drama is a body drama without lines. Considering the audience group, in the creation of children's dramas in our country, the expression of words and meanings relies less on the lines, which is more conducive to cross lingual and cross-cultural communication. This feature also unexpectedly makes it easier to spread globally. The popular "Three Monks" is an anime body drama, with only four sets of lines: "Master," "Senior Brother," "Junior Brother," and "Amitabha Buddha. However, due to its wonderful presentation, whether it is facing drama peers at the opening ceremony of the famous international drama festival, facing national politicians in foreign affairs activities, or facing children of different skin colors in primary and secondary schools; Whether in Asia, Europe, Africa, or South America, every performance ends with endless applause. What's even more interesting is that you can always see
