The digital wave boosts the development of "major powers" towards "intelligence"

The picture shows the runner of Dongfang Electric's first domestically developed single machine capacity and maximum power 150 megawatt level impact hydroelectric unit. The AGV intelligent handling robot, intelligent unmanned workshop processing production line, and flexible welding robot, which come and go freely with information and photos... This is the scene seen by a reporter from Economic Reference News during interviews with multiple factories of Dongfang Electric Group, one of the world's largest energy equipment manufacturing conglomerates. Behind the emergence of a large number of "major powers" such as the world-renowned Baihetan and the independent G50 heavy-duty gas turbine are the innovative forces accelerating the intelligent transformation of the manufacturing industry. The reporter walked into the factory area of Dongfang Steam Turbine, a subsidiary of Dongfang Electric Group located in Deyang, Sichuan. In front of him was a quiet and tidy modern factory room. There was no traditional factory noise here, only blue AGV cars carrying preset line instructions were seen shuttling through the unmanned workshop. The car, which is always on standby, bears the responsibility of transporting materials. Through the intelligent coordination of program setting and command system, the "blue" blood accurately transports "nutrients" to maintain the normal operation of the unmanned workshop for 24 hours. This is the first unmanned blade processing workshop and the first black light production line in China. It took 8 months and applied advanced digital technologies such as 5G, industrial internet, digital twins, and machine vision to drive intelligent logistics delivery, robot collaboration, adaptive processing, and online detection, achieving 24-hour continuous processing without human intervention. "said Zeng Jingping, Deputy Factory Director of Dongfang Turbine Blade Branch, At present, the equipment utilization rate of unmanned workshops has reached 90%, the energy utilization rate has increased by 47%, the per capita efficiency has increased by 650%, and the quality stability has been improved from 92% to 99%. Not far from the factory, there is the world's first green "unmanned workshop" for stator lamination. Here, there is also a highly intelligent and automated production line: the orange robotic arms placed in the workshop are working, producing the core component of the generator set, stator punching, day and night. Whether it is raw material stamping, deburring, dust cleaning, and painting, all processes are completed by precise mechanical equipment and pre-set intelligent instructions. It is reported that traditional production management completely relies on manual scheduling, which requires manual operations with high labor intensity, heavy dust pollution, and high environmental pressure. The digital workshop built by Dongfang Electric, a subsidiary of Dongfang Electric Group, has been fully automated and upgraded, with robots replacing manual operations. The technology of environmentally friendly water-soluble paint brushing and thermal energy recycling has been comprehensively promoted, achieving a new manufacturing and operation mode centered on data-driven technology, truly achieving a transformation from human-machine collaborative production to intelligent production manufacturing. All processes and data can be displayed in the 'heart' central control room system of the unmanned workshop, including workshop production information, equipment status, quality, and other information, "Jiang Yankun, Deputy Minister of Digital Intelligence Department of Dongfang Electric, told reporters. Leaving the green "unmanned workshop" for stator lamination, you can take a shuttle bus to the digital workshop for large-scale clean energy equipment and heavy manufacturing of Dongfang Electric. As soon as you get off the car, you will see a huge workshop about 400 meters long, 36 meters wide, and 33 meters high. here
