The reporter learned from a press conference recently held by the China Association for Science and Technology that the 2023 World Youth Scientists Summit will open in Wenzhou, Zhejiang on November 11th, dedicated to showcasing the innovative power of young scientists in open cooperation. It adheres to holding meetings throughout the year, setting up 1 opening ceremony, 1 closing ceremony, 13 main forum activities, 3 overseas special events, and 23 daily sub forum activities. Among them, the main forum activities of the conference strengthen industry and result orientation. The China Nordic Sustainable Development Cooperation Summit Forum will deepen the docking and cooperation between the United Nations University, the Nordic University Alliance, and domestic universities. The Women Scientists Forum will form a common initiative to promote the growth and success of female scientists in science and technology innovation and empowerment. The International Eye Health Technology Innovation and Industrial Development Summit Forum will solicit ophthalmic projects globally. In addition, focusing on the new energy industry, the summit has added a series of activities such as the International Energy Materials Forum and the Hydrogen Energy Youth Scientists Forum. The World Youth Scientists Summit was jointly initiated and hosted by the Chinese Association for Science and Technology and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province. It has been successfully held four times since 2019 and has become an important brand for China's youth science and technology diplomacy and an important platform for host cities to link global resources.
