China's hydrogen energy industry shows a trend of adapting to local conditions for development
2023-10-30
Recently, the China Hydrogen Energy Alliance released the "2022 Report on the Development of China's Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Industry" (hereinafter referred to as the "White Paper 2022") for the fourth consecutive year. Hydrogen energy is recognized as the cleanest and most efficient green energy source in the world. As the "dual carbon" target timeline approaches, the development of the hydrogen energy industry has received widespread attention from all sectors of society. What is the current development trend of the hydrogen energy industry at home and abroad? What new situations and tasks are facing the development of China's hydrogen energy industry? What is the key direction for the development of China's hydrogen energy industry in the future? With these questions in mind, a reporter from Science and Technology Daily interviewed relevant experts. Continuously Strengthening the Development Policy and Standard System of the Hydrogen Energy Industry "White Paper 2022 We systematically reviewed the development trends and trends of the global hydrogen energy industry in 2022, analyzed the new situations, challenges, tasks, and requirements faced by China's hydrogen energy industry development through detailed content and data, and analyzed the key development directions and tasks of China's hydrogen energy industry, aiming to provide industry reference and theoretical support for China's hydrogen and fuel cell industries Introduction by Ma Tiancai, Deputy Secretary General of the China Hydrogen Energy Alliance and Professor of Tongji University. The White Paper 2022 released this time provides a systematic summary of the development trends and trends of the hydrogen energy industry at home and abroad. From an international perspective, countries have successively released national strategic plans and policies, and their support and promotion for the hydrogen energy industry have been increasing. As of the end of 2022, a total of 41 countries and regions, including the United States, Germany, and Japan, have formulated and released national hydrogen energy development strategies, At present, the scale of global hydrogen supply and demand is steadily increasing, and the proportion of low-carbon clean hydrogen continues to increase; In the fields of transportation and power generation, the application of hydrogen based energy continues to advance; The cost gap of hydrogen prices in key regions has widened, and hydrogen prices in Europe have increased significantly year-on-year. From a domestic perspective, China's policy and standard system for the development of the hydrogen energy industry is also continuously strengthening, and hydrogen energy management norms are gradually being introduced. As of the end of 2022, China has released 102 national standards, 30 industry standards, 136 group standards, and 19 local standards related to hydrogen energy. The hydrogen energy standard system is gradually improving. At the same time, China's renewable hydrogen production capacity has doubled, achieving intensive landing in the three northern regions. In 2022, China's renewable hydrogen production capacity will be approximately 56000 tons, and renewable energy hydrogen production projects will accelerate. The Northwest and North China regions will lead the planning and construction of large-scale renewable hydrogen base demonstration projects. More importantly, the prices of hydrogen in key regions of China have steadily decreased, and the progress of hydrogen energy application in industries and power generation has accelerated. Promoting supply chain construction through large-scale industrial applications will become an important lever for the development of China's hydrogen energy industry. "Ma Tiancai said that in 2022, the promotion of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles will accelerate, and relying on major demonstration projects such as the" Fuel Cell Vehicle Demonstration City Cluster ", China's sales of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles will increase by 3367 units, The ownership reached 12682 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of about 36%; A total of 358 hydrogen refueling stations have been built, a year-on-year increase of over 40%. The new situation of diversified commercial applications is forming. In March 2022, the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration jointly issued the "Medium and Long Term Plan for the Development of the Hydrogen Energy Industry (2021-2035)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Medium and Long Term Plan")
