China is deeply saddened and concerned about this. China and Arab countries have similar positions on the Palestinian issue. China is willing to strengthen coordination with the Arab side in multilateral forums such as the United Nations Security Council, and play a constructive role in promoting the cooling of the situation between Palestine and Israel and preventing the expansion of the conflict. Sayeh stated that the Arab China relationship is profound and solid, with fruitful cooperation in various fields, mutual support in multilateral settings, and close communication and coordination on international and regional issues. The Arab side regrets the large number of civilian casualties caused by the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and calls for an immediate ceasefire and cessation of the war, providing humanitarian assistance to Gaza, and safeguarding the basic human rights and needs of the Gaza people.
