Holding commemorative activities for Fuxi and Nuwa is to maintain the common cultural bond and national memory of the Chinese nation. It is reported that Fuxi was one of the pioneers and three emperors of the Chinese nation's humanities, and also the earliest recorded creation god in Chinese literature. Nvwa is a goddess of creation in ancient Chinese mythology and the pioneer of the Chinese nation's humanities.
