Both sides should make every effort to promote the comprehensive development project of Colombo Port City and Hambantota and make it the flagship project of China Sri Lanka's joint construction of the "the Belt and Road". China is happy to see Sri Lanka become the commercial center of the Indian Ocean. Both sides also need to strengthen cooperation in international and regional affairs, oppose politicizing human rights issues, oppose creating camp confrontations, and safeguard the common interests of both countries and developing countries.
