China attaches great importance to the development of China Sri Lanka relations, and is willing to work with Sri Lanka to consolidate political mutual trust, jointly build the "the Belt and Road" in high quality, and promote the new progress of China Sri Lanka strategic cooperative partnership of sincere mutual assistance and friendship for generations to better benefit the two peoples. China is willing to expand the import of advantageous and characteristic products from Sri Lanka, encourage Chinese enterprises to invest and develop in Sri Lanka, and help Sri Lanka achieve economic transformation, upgrading, and sustainable development. It is hoped that Sri Lanka will provide an open and transparent business environment for Chinese enterprises. China is willing to continue providing assistance to Sri Lanka without additional political conditions to help Sri Lanka cope with the difficulties faced in the field of social and livelihood. Both sides should make every effort to promote the comprehensive development project of Colombo Port City and Hambantota and make it the flagship project of China Sri Lanka's joint construction of the "the Belt and Road". China is happy to see Sri Lanka become the commercial center of the Indian Ocean. Both sides also need to strengthen cooperation in international and regional affairs, oppose politicizing human rights issues, oppose creating camp confrontations, and safeguard the common interests of both countries and developing countries. Vikramasimha said that he congratulated China on successfully hosting the third "the Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum. Sri Lanka has attached great importance to and actively participated in the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" from the very beginning, and is optimistic about its potential and prospects. The joint construction of the "the Belt and Road", especially the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road", has greatly promoted Sri Lanka's economic and social development, and is conducive to enhancing Sri Lanka's unique influence in the region.
