On October 19th local time, the 25th General Assembly of the United Nations World Tourism Organization opened in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. The list of "Best Tourist Villages" for 2023 was announced at the meeting, with Huangling Village in Jiangxi, Xiajiang Village in Zhejiang, Zhagana Village in Gansu, and Zhujiawan Village in Shaanxi selected. Adding to the selection of Yucun Village in Zhejiang and Xidi Village in Anhui in 2021, as well as Dazhai Village in Guangxi and Jingzhu Village in Chongqing in 2022, China has 8 selected villages, ranking first in the world. This year, a total of 63 countries submitted 258 applications, and 54 villages from 32 countries were ultimately selected. Huangling Village, located in Wuyuan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, is known as a village hanging on the cliffs. It is renowned both domestically and internationally for its unique "autumn drying" landscape. Huangling Village has a history of over 580 years and currently has over 100 ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is an important sample for studying the remains of Huizhou style ancient buildings. In the process of developing rural tourism, Huangling Village emphasizes the organic combination of traditional village style and living intangible cultural heritage. With the "Sunshine Autumn" IP, it has attracted a continuous stream of tourists, cultural scholars, and photography enthusiasts, becoming a synonym for "poetry and distance" in the minds of many domestic and foreign tourists, achieving the transformation of "rural beauty" into cultural value and rural output value. Xiajiang Village, with a history of over 800 years, is located in Chun'an County, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is adjacent to Qiandao Lake and is known as the "Yashu Gorge". For the past 20 years, Xiajiang Village has practiced the concept of "green waters and mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains", actively restored the ecological environment, improved the appearance of the village, and achieved a transformation from "poor, dirty, and poor" to "green, rich, and beautiful". Zhagana Village, with an average elevation of over 2800 meters, means "stone box" in Tibetan. This village is located in Diebu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, with towering mountains, shrouded in clouds and mist, resembling a fairyland. Zhagana Village has three major vegetation types: alpine grassland, temperate grassland, and warm temperate deciduous forest. Villagers cultivate, graze in the middle of the mountain, and pick in the forest, forming a unique agricultural, forestry, and animal husbandry complex system. It has been recognized as an important global agricultural cultural heritage by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. In recent years, the village has utilized unique natural and cultural landscapes, folk customs, and other factors to develop rural tourism, finding a balance between protection and development, and exploring a new path of using rural tourism to feed back ecological protection and promote communication and integration among various ethnic groups. Zhujiawan Village, located in Zhashui County, Shangluo City, Shaanxi Province, at the southern foot of the Qinling Mountains, is known as a "natural oxygen bar that is unknown to people raised in the depths of the boudoir". Zhujiawan Village protects green waters and green mountains, serves as the "ecological guardian" of the Qinling Mountains, and continuously transforms ecological advantages into development advantages, explaining the new connotation of "relying on mountains to eat mountains" - turning the past simple reliance on digging medicinal herbs, logging, and chopping bamboo into a "ecological bowl" and eating a "tourism meal". At the same time, in recent years, Zhujiawan Village has deeply explored the profound culture of integrating Qin and Chu, shaping tourism with culture, and highlighting culture with tourism. It has revitalized cultural heritage such as old houses in the Qinling Mountains, ancient road ruins, Zhashui fishing drums, folk community fires, and ancient wine making with new vitality and vitality in the development of rural tourism,
