This event allows Vietnamese musicians and musicians from around the world to once again gather offline and play together, using excellent works to build a bridge between people's hearts and help strengthen cultural exchange. "Du Hongjun, Chairman of the Federation of Vietnamese Literary and Art Associations, said in Nanning on the evening of the 18th. That evening, the 12th China ASEAN Music Week of 2023 opened in Nanning, Guangxi. Artists from various countries played beautiful movements symbolizing friendship and cooperation, and performed multiple unique ethnic music works. Qin Furuo, Deputy Consul General of the Philippine Consulate General in Guangzhou, stated in his speech that the University of the Philippines Symphony Orchestra has organized about 70 members to come to China for performances, aiming to promote in-depth exchanges between cultural and artistic groups of the two countries and deepen friendship between the two peoples. This Music Week is guided by the International Association of Modern Music (ISCM) and hosted by Guangxi Academy of Arts. In the next 6 days, Chinese and foreign performance teams such as the Guangxi Academy of Arts Orchestra and Choir, the University of the Philippines Symphony Orchestra, the C-ASEAN Ten Nation Orchestra, the Vietnamese National Conservatory of Music Orchestra, and the Thai Tacet (i) Ensemble Chamber Orchestra will jointly launch multiple high-quality concerts to present contemporary music to the audience. The large-scale symphonic choir "Sailing on the Silk Road" will also appear in the Music Week. Hou Daohui, Dean of Guangxi Academy of Arts, stated that this music week will include music performances, academic forums, master lectures, and music review competitions, inviting more than 240 domestic and foreign artists to participate.
