The shooting team is the third Chinese military sports team to participate abroad this year, following the skiing team and the military pentathlon team. Like other sports teams, shooting teams participating abroad also face many unprecedented difficulties and challenges, and the biggest challenge is the formation of participating teams. Jin Yongde, who has won shooting championships multiple times at the World Military Games and Asian Games, is both the vice captain of the military shooting team and a participating athlete. He deeply feels that the burden on his shoulders is completely different from before. In the previous teams that participated in international competitions, the team members only had a distinction between old and new players, as well as the difference between winning and not winning championships, making them a very professional team. An important change in participating in the international military sports competition as a team this time is the adoption of a "direct call+draw" model. Direct recruitment "refers to the direct recruitment of sergeants with sports expertise, while" group selection "refers to the selection of officers and soldiers with sports talents and skills from the grassroots level of the military.
