Kabul News: At around 5:10 local time on the 11th, a 6.3 magnitude earthquake occurred in western Afghanistan. According to local media, the earthquake that occurred in western Afghanistan on the 7th of this month has killed 2445 people. According to the Earthquake Information Network of the United States Geological Survey, the epicenter of the earthquake on the 11th was located approximately 28 kilometers northwest of Herat City, the capital of Herat Province in western Afghanistan, with a depth of 10 kilometers. There are currently no casualties or data released for this earthquake. The British Broadcasting Corporation reported that after the earthquake on the 7th, many disaster victims began to spend the night outdoors due to their houses being destroyed, facing shortages of basic necessities such as food and blankets. On the 7th of this month, multiple earthquakes occurred in western Afghanistan. Afghanistan's Bakhtar News Agency reported that as of the 9th, the earthquake had resulted in 2445 deaths. Rescue workers did not find any new casualties or trapped individuals during the search and rescue work on the 10th. According to the official website of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs on the 10th, approximately 12110 people in Herat Province were affected by the earthquake on the 7th, with some houses in severely affected areas completely destroyed and hundreds of others missing.
