On October 5th, Wang Yi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Director of the Central Foreign Affairs Office, attended the opening ceremony of the Third China Tibet "Himalayan Rim" International Cooperation Forum in Linzhi, Tibet. Deputy Prime Minister Amar Sai Khan of Mongolia, Vice Chairman of the Nepalese Federal Council Ayar, and Foreign Minister Gilani of Pakistan attended and delivered speeches. Wang Yi stated that the countries around the Himalayas are geographically connected, culturally similar, and have interconnected destinies. Regarding deepening cooperation in the next stage, Wang Yi suggested adhering to mutual respect and trust, deepening mutually beneficial cooperation, accelerating green transformation, strengthening connectivity, and enhancing exchanges and mutual learning. All parties highly evaluate the significant achievements made in the construction of ecological civilization and economic and social development in Tibet, China. They appreciate the important role played by the forum in strengthening exchanges and cooperation among regional countries and achieving common development and prosperity. They unanimously believe that we should work together to protect human civilization and biodiversity, achieve harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, and share the fruits of development and cooperation. This forum was held in Nyingchi, Tibet from the 4th to the 6th, co hosted by the People's Government of the Tibet Autonomous Region and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Representatives from more than 40 countries, regions, and international organizations attended and held in-depth discussions on topics such as ecological protection and development cooperation. China welcomes friends from all over the world to come to Tibet to witness the tremendous achievements of Tibet's economic and social development, the happy lives of people of all ethnic groups, and the true situation of the perfect inheritance and protection of Tibetan culture. The facts will prove that some Western forces fabricate lies related to Tibet based on ideological bias, which are completely untenable and will be defeated in the face of facts.
