Xiamen Port has added a new direct route to the Middle East of the "the Belt and Road", Tianjin Port has opened a new direct route to European containers, and Hebei Port Group's first international container route to Southeast Asia has been put into operation. At the same time, domestic trade routes continue to enrich, and the Zhuhai Gaolan Shenzhen Yantian Combined Port has officially opened, helping to achieve mutual recognition of resources between ports in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area; Multiple domestic trade routes such as "Yingkou Haikou" have officially opened. In this situation, the overall production of coastal ports is improving. In the first half of the year, the ocean freight volume reached 2.2 billion tons, an increase of 9.8% year-on-year. The operational efficiency of coastal ports has steadily improved, with the average number of ships berthing and stopping at nine major coastal ports, including Shanghai Port and Ningbo Zhoushan Port, decreasing by 19.5% and 14.6% year-on-year from January to June. Among them, Guangzhou Port ranks first and second among major ports in the world with an average of 0.62 and 0.92 days of vessel berthing and stopping time, respectively.
